In China COWI is represented by COWI China, a 100% owned affiliate of COWI Denmark. COWI China has recently been reorganized and represents now three of the business lines of the COWI Group: Energy, Transportation, Environment and Building. COWI China's Energy department is working within: CDM, District Heating, Wind and Oil & Gas. The Transportation department is focusing on bridges and tunnels while the Environment department is doing consultancy within water resource management, Environmental Due Diligence and Industry Wastewater. The largest current projects for COWI China are the SuTong Bridge between Suzhou and Nantong in Jiangsu Province (the worlds biggest cable stayed Bridge and opened for traffic on June 2008) and the EU-China River Basin Management Project of the Yellow River and Yangtze River
