Founded in Padrón (Galicia), in the north western part of Spain in 1972, CORTIZO is the national leading company and European benchmark in manufacturing and design of aluminium and PVC profiles for architectural and industrial use. Currently located in more than 30 countries, the company register record turnover figures in 2017 of €554 million, producing over 75,000 tonnes. These results are made possible by the constant efforts of more than 2800 people who form part of the company that currently has 9 Production Centres (Spain, Slovakia, Poland and France) and 31 Logistics Centres. In addition, CORTIZO is renowned for the production of other profiles supplied to all areas of the industrial sector. The Spanish based company has an exclusive Technology Centre dedicated to the R&D. In this department more than 50 multidisciplinary people are responsible for the development of new products according to the international markets needs. Furthermore, the department secures that Cortizo’s product portfolio always is up to date, by constantly modifying and improving existing products, to offer market leading solutions for all the countries Cortizo is serving. Besides, the quality and the facilities of the finished product come also from the meticulous monitoring of each production process that is subject to an exhaustive range of tests carried out by the quality department.
