Continental Wind is a dynamic renewable energy firm. We deal with all phases of a wind farm’s life cycle, from greenfield development through financing, construction, and operation. Continental Wind matches development expertise, a strong presence in every country where we operate, and access to international financial market to create projects that deliver value to investors, host country utilities, and local communities. Continental Wind Partners was founded in 2007 and is backed by Private Equity firms. In 2008, it sold its first project, the Fantanele Wind Farm, to CEZ as. At 600 MW Fantanele remains the largest project on the European continent. In addition to developing the deal CWP provided full services as Owner’s Engineer. CWP’s most recent success is the 113 MW Boco Rock project. CWP led the financing of the project on a full non-recourse basis, and now serves as asset manager for project owner EGCO. CWP continues to develop projects in Australia and Central and Eastern Europe.
