About Construction Navale Bordeaux
Created in 1987, Construction Navale Bordeaux is one of the company of Groupe Beneteau.
Based in Bordeaux, on the banks of the Garonne River, just few miles away from the greatest vineyards, the shipyard is located on a 105 000 square meters lot with 56 000 square meters covered buildings. The Bordeaux shipyard has acquired an international reputation in qualitative building and for the finish of its boats with three major brands:
- Lagoon, cruising catamarans world leader with a 38 to 78 feet range.
- EXCESS, catamarans which embody both sportsmanship and modernity.
- CNB yacht builders, specialist of semi-custom monohulls.
Master of all the shipbuilding trades and the knowledge of aluminum and composite materials, the shipyard is the symbol of the skilled French Expertise with more than 4 800 boats built.
The mission of Construction Navale Bordeaux is summarized through a sentence written by founders Dieter Gust and Olivier Lafourcade:
“As confirmed sailors, we all know that our boats have to be fast, comfortable and safe: seaworthy. We build them based on our love of the sea and the constant aim of good quality work. We design them as if we were the future owners. As shipbuilders and sailors, it is part of our logic”.
