Conair is a global leader in specialty aerial firefighting operations, delivering an extensive range of next-generation aerial fire control products and services to a variety of national and international customers and partners. Our long-standing reputation for providing service excellence makes us an industry leader. As one of the world’s most experienced aerial firefighting operators, we hold hundreds of supplemental type certificates (STC) for modification of aircraft into aerial firefighting aircraft as well as multi-role configurations suitable for passenger, cargo flight missions. Currently we manufacture modified RJ85 and Q400MR aircraft for use in aerial firefighting and transporting people/cargo in support of emergency response operations.Established in 1969, Conair employs over 300 skilled people, safely flying up to 12,000 aerial firefighting flight hours over 70 aircraft each year, including fixed wing Air Attack aircraft, Amphibious Airtankers, and Land-Based Airtankers. To maximize our ability to deliver continuous aerial fire management protection to our clients, we are proud to offer a full suite of aerial support services, including an experienced ground crew specialized in maintaining our own fleet as well as customer-owned aircraft.
