Community Employment Services can help you to kickstart your career, whether you are an adult, youth, newcomer or internationally-educated professional.The job-seeking public can access a full range of self-directed or case managed services and supports from a state-of-the-art employment resource centre located at the Midland and Ellesmere location.Our services include:*individual appointments to support one’s career exploration, career planning, post-secondary pathways and re-entering the labour market;*weekly workshops such as resume and cover letter writing, interview skills and how to conduct a strategic job search;*paid work placements and apprenticeships. Community Employment Services may cover the cost of tools, equipment, clothing and certifications;* Application assistance for Second Career;* Support to local businesses with recruitment and staffing, and assistance to apply for the Canada-Ontario Job Grant;*employment resources, and information about education, skills training and community-based supports and;*free access to computers, internet, scanners, printers and fax machines.
