Communities In Schools of Texas

Communities In Schools (CIS) of Texas local programs are making a significant, positive impact on the youth in many Texas communities. CIS of Texas dropout prevention services are provided by 27 local programs on 840 campuses in 144 partnering school districts throughout the state. Every year, thousands of Texas students have found success in the classroom with personalized learning supports provided by CIS of Texas. CIS of Texas is a K-12 dropout prevention program that works closely with parents, schools, volunteers, businesses and community members to provide customized one-on-one, case managed services to nearly 90,000 students to help prepare students in-need for success in school and in life.
