Bryan Daniel is the Commissioner Representing the Public for the Texas Workforce Commission. Governor Greg Abbott appointed him to the three-member Commission on July 29, 2019.
Commissioner Daniel serves as the representative for the public, promoting and supporting the growth of Texas’ world-class employers and talented workforce. In this capacity, his office advances innovative workforce and economic development strategies in collaboration with our education partners, local leaders, and industry to preserve our competitive edge as the best place to work in the world.
Prior to his appointment, Commissioner Daniel served as the Executive Director of the Office of the Governor Economic Development Division. He previously served as Vice President for Business Development at Agricultural Workers Mutual Auto Insurance Company and as the Texas State Director of Rural Development in President George W. Bush's administration.
Commissioner Daniel is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in agricultural communications and a Master of Science in agricultural education.
