Colonial Dental Group was established in 1946 and is one of the most well established practices along the North Shore. The practice was started by Dr. Justin and is thriving today under the direction of Dr’s Lewis and Quezada. Dr. Justin was one of the first chairmen of the Chicago Dental Society and Dr’s Dooley and Quezada have followed in his footsteps. Dr. David Lewis was the Program Chair of the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting in 2015 and is currently the North Suburban Branch Director. Both of the doctors have advanced training and participate in continuing education seminars and courses to stay abreast of all the latest techniques and industry changes. Since we are a general practice, we service the entire family starting with a child’s first visit before preschool and follow all the way through senior care. We have many multi-generational families in the practice and a large group of snowbirds who alternate from places like Florida and Arizona and Mexico. We can handle advanced dental issues such as TMD, Neuromuscular Occlusion as well as sleep apnea and a variety of implant procedures. Many patients take advantage of the opportunity to get crowns in one visit with our Cerec system. Our hygiene department is second to none as we accept cleaning appointments 4 days a week and are now offering 8am and 5pm appointments in order to accommodate our patients’ busy schedules. Our main hygienists have been with the practice for 23 years, 17 years and 6 years consecutively, so we have the ability to build relationships with our patients and respond to their healthcare needs.
