Coastal Energy Company is an international oil and gas exploration and production company with assets in Thailand. The Company is focused on acquiring discovered, underdeveloped oil and gas opportunities with significant upside potential, primarily in Southeast Asia. The Company also seeks to leverage the experience of management to pursue similar opportunities on a global basis. The Company’s current portfolio includes a number of development assets along with multiple potential high-impact exploration prospects. As of December 31, 2009, Coastal’s 2P reserves were 55.0 mmboe and its prospective & contingent resources were in excess of 668.0 mmboe. Coastal Energy’s shares are dual listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (Symbol: CEN) and the AIM of the London Stock Exchange (Symbol: CEO).
