City of Malibu

The City of Malibu was incorporated on March 28, 1991. Located in Northwest Los Angeles County, the City has 21 miles of scenic coastline on the Pacific Ocean surrounded by the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains and a population of 10,654 (2020 Census). Vision Statement: Malibu is a unique land and marine environment and residential community whose citizens have historically evidenced a commitment to sacrifice urban and suburban conveniences in order to protect that environment and lifestyle, and to preserve unaltered natural resources and rural characteristics.
