If you are looking for a career that is exciting, challenging, and allows you to succeed, excel, and feel good about what you do, then consider the field of Nutrition and Dietetics. The AS-T in Nutrition and Dietetics prepares students to transfer to the California State University (CSU) System in the field of nutrition and dietetics, and other health-related majors. Students who earn this degree and meet the CSU minimum eligibility requirements are guaranteed admission to a CSU, but not to a particular campus or major. The Nutrition Assistant Program is a two-semester certificate program designed to develop competency in the delivery of nutrition-related services. The program is committed to training students to provide culturally sensitive, quality nutrition care to help clients achieve optimal health and well-being at every stage of life. Please note, the Nutrition Assistant program will not be offered in Fall '20-Spring '21.
