Citizens State Bank was organized as a state bank in October 1888, operating in Wisner, Nebraska. In 1903 we became a national bank, The Citizens National Bank of Wisner, and operated as such for over a century. In 2009 we again became a state bank. The bank has shown continued growth and development during some trying times throughout history, acquiring several additional community banks and opening new branches over the last 130 years.
