Chicago Center for Arts & Technology

The Chicago Center for Arts and Technology (CHICAT) is a state-of-the-art community-serving organization that will offer life-changing learning and career opportunities to young people and adults. ChiCAT will also engage policy and urban planning conversations and actions about the valuable and undervalued connection between art and technology. Starting in Spring 2017, ChiCAT will provide young people with access to top-of-the-line digital studios and art classes with the goal of educating them on new technology and tried-and-true artistic skills, on new and traditional ways of expressing their voice, on state-of-the-art and centuries old techniques for getting their ideas out into the world, on how art and technology training contributes positively to their future.
