Information
Founded in 1976 with the aim of providing a beekeeping society in the Chalfonts in Buckinghamshire, UK we now promote the craft of beekeeping, publicise its benefits in the local community, and foster co-operation between local beekeepers. From it small beginnings the society has grown to an active group over 100 active members. Together the members have over 200 hives in the area, housing more than 10 million bees at the height of summer, ensuring pollination of fruit bushes and trees, vegetable crops and flowers. Local honey can be found for sale in delicatessens, butchers, health food shops and other shops in the area as well as at local shows during the summer. It is a natural remedy against hay fever. Check out our website http://www.chalfontsbeekeepers.co.uk and join us at one of our meetings.
