Central PA Connect Health Information Exchange

Central PA Connect is a newly formed Health Information Exchange. Administered by Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health and founded on information exchange capability since 2008, Central PA Connect is primarily focused on providers in the counties of Lancaster, York, Lebanon, Berks and Dauphin. Central PA Connect currently shares patient data among 100+ practices and 900+ providers, across multiple electronic medical systems (Epic, Greenway, Medent, Allscripts) and participates in the Sequoia Project (Social Security Administration & VA Hospital exchange.)Central PA Connect includes LG Health’s extensive patient information database and community patient portal services used by hundreds of area independent providers including specialty practices, behavioral health providers, and skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Now Central PA Connect is joining the Pennsylvania eHealth Partnership, a PA Patient & Provider Network with a key objective to expand interoperability across the State.
