Centerra Gold is a Canadian-based gold mining company engaged in operating, developing, acquiring and exploring gold properties in North America, Asia and other markets worldwide and is one of the largest Western-based gold producers in Central Asia. Centerra Gold has two flagship gold assets, the Kumtor Mine in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Mount Milligan Mine in northern British Columbia, Canada, and now has a third operating gold mine, the 100% owned Öksüt Mine in Turkey. Centerra Gold's shares trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under the symbol CG and the Company is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In 2019, Centerra Gold produced 783,308 ounces of gold and 71.1 million pounds of copper from its two operating mines, Kumtor and Mount Milligan. In 2018 the Company completed the acquisition and integration of AuRico Metals Inc. which added the Kemess Project, a de-risked late-stage brownfield project in northern British Columbia, Canada. In addition, Centerra Gold has another promising development property in Canada, the Greenstone Gold Property, and exploration joint ventures or properties in Canada, Finland, Mexico, Turkey and the United States. Centerra Gold's goal is to grow its annual gold production and build shareholder value by maximizing the potential of its current properties, add additional operating platforms, expand its portfolio of exploration properties and continue to increase its reserves and resources.
