Center for the Collaborative Classroom

Center for the Collaborative Classroom is a nonprofit organization dedicated to students’ growth as critical thinkers who learn from, care for, and respect one another.We work with schools and districts to empower teachers to transform classrooms, build community, and create the conditions for learning in which children can take the necessary risks to become thoughtful, principled citizens of the world.Collaborative Classroom was created when two leading educational nonprofit organizations—Developmental Studies Center (DSC) and Cornerstone Literacy, Inc. (CLI)—merged to combine their 51 years of collective experience supporting the continuous professional learning of educators and the social and academic development of children.
