Cape Henlopen School District

The Cape Henlopen School District is a comprehensive school district serving students in grades Pre-K through 12. Our district provides a world-class education that fully prepares each student for a healthy, creative, and rewarding life in an ever-diversifying and global society. We provide an educational environment that enables each student to achieve personal excellence and lifelong learning skills so that they can fully participate in society as productive and responsible citizens. All classrooms in the CHSD utilize differentiated instruction. This allows teachers to customize learning in order to meet each student’s individual needs. Through technology, resources, and highly capable staff, we offer 21st-century transformative learning opportunities for every student in our district. All of our schools have award-winning programs. Two of our schools have received the prestigious United States Department of Education National Blue Ribbon Schools award for closing the achievement gap, and three of our schools achieved the title of “State of Delaware Recognition School”.
