Every week in Northern Ireland another three children and young people (age 0-24) are diagnosed with cancer.As the leading children’s cancer charity in Northern Ireland, we understand the devastating impact a cancer diagnosis and treatment can have on the whole family and that beyond essential medical care there is a family life that needs to be rebuilt.Our team of Specialists provide a range of practical, financial and emotional support to families affected by cancer, at home, on the hospital ward and in the community.Families can also avail of free therapeutic short breaks at our therapeutic short break centre, Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, as well as self-catering short breaks at our Cottages in Coleraine.We support around 350 families and 800 children and young people every year.
