Camp Kudzu Inc.

Camp Kudzu educates, empowers, and inspires children with diabetes! Camp is the place for children ages 8-16 years to be active, have fun and learn many skills for managing diabetes in a medically supervised manner. Camp is like a “best practices seminar” in fresh air! Three week-long sessions of summer camp are offered at different locations. Family camp weekends in the fall and spring offer the opportunity for families to come as a whole to meet other families, develop a support network and learn about various diabetes issues. At teen weekends, the focus is taking responsibility for living with diabetes while setting goals, having friends who understand and mentors who care. Camp also offers many opportunities to volunteer and participate in fund-raising events.
