C A Blackwell Contracts Limited is a subsidiary of the Blackwell Group Limited and has been established since 1956 as a civil engineering, remediation, geotechnical and earthmoving contractor. Hargreaves Services PLC the UK's leading supplier of solid fuels and bulk material logistics, acquired the Blackwell Group Limited in January 2016. The operations of Blackwell are highly complementary to those of Hargreaves in terms of skills, experience and, critically, the equipment that they utilise. We have offices in Earls Colne, Essex, Wakefield and Cardiff all having equal access to nationwide resources and support systems. Operational flexibility and capability is further enhanced in subsidiary companies specialising in contaminated soil cleaning and soils improvement by lime stabilisation. Blackwell has the financial strength, resources, technical knowledge and management capacity to undertake multi disciplined construction projects and has become synonymous with quality, innovation and unrivalled service. Our constructive solutions encompass the entire project delivery chain from concept development, through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and maintenance.
