About British Power International

BPI is a long established and experienced energy sector consultancy business, offering a range of services in the planning, design, construction, operation and regulation of power systems. In addition to our proven technical and economics consultancy expertise, we have an established team of professionals with extensive hands-on experience of the electricity utility industry in a broad spectrum of operational environments, market conditions and patterns of ownership.

BPI has successfully completed a wide range of consultancy projects both in the UK and internationally. Clients include the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Governments, and Government agencies, as well as energy companies, network operators, regulatory authorities and commercial clients.
The two United Kingdom-based offices also provide engineering design and project management services for transmission and distribution utilities.

BPI is now part of the Freedom Group of companies, and part of EnServe Group Ltd, a leading provider of infrastructure support services to the Utility and Energy sectors, with an annual turnover of around £300m. As such, BPI has access to around 3,000 staff within the group, and to a wide range of expertise and services which we can utilise to support the needs of our clients.
