Bobby Rodriguez Productions, Inc./Florida Renaissance Festival

In 1981, company founder Bobby Rodriguez opened BOBBY RODRIGUEZ PRODUCTIONS, a special events and entertainment agency. He booked and/or performed with numerous name acts, including The Temptations, Red Foxx, Flip Wilson, Tina Turner, Buddy Rich and at events such as "Sunfest", "Taste of Ft, Lauderdale", the "Hollywood Jazz Fest." and for such clients as the Boca Museum of Art, American Cancer Society, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Florida and the Miami City Ballet. In 1992 BRP created and produced a 16th Century themed event called the ‘Medieval Faire’. What started as a two day festival has grown into a 6 weekend event, now known as the ‘FLORIDA RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL’, a major cultural & educational extravaganza, averaging 100,000 visitors each year and garnering numerous Local, National and International awards.
