The Belgian League of IT Specialist was created with one goal : YOU Blits Belgium is there for the self-employed, employed or student in information technology Welcome BLITS Belgium focusses on 4 main issues : First of all BLITS wants to represent those 150.000 individuals on official issues where they need a voice. Think of it as a way to give other institutions the possibility to communicate with us, on employment for example. BLITS’ second objective is to create a platform amongst members. Being IT specialist involves a certain degree of isolation. The program that BLITS deploys, creates opportunities for the members to gather and exchange knowledge through webinars and others. Soon BLITS found out that other countries already have such organisation and a small step was needed to fulfil a third interesting feature it could offer it’s members : Fraternize. Today BLITS is creating a vast international network of similar societies that are ready to welcome our members all over the world, by simple introduction. In its first day, BLITS Belgium has already fraternised with 5 similar organisations throughout the world, the objective being to cover 40 countries by the end of this year. Finally, a group can also cover individual needs by representing them to business partners. BLITS has created partnerships to give their members the possibility to subscribe tailor-made services, offer negotiated deals and BLITS even created free included extras. Of course, a non-profit professional federation is nothing without members. In this important call for members, BLITS Belgium negotiated an all risk insurance for small IT hardware that is included in the membership fee, so what are you waiting for to join now?
