BLACK ON PURPOSE TELEVISION IS THE LARGEST BLACK OWNED TELEVISION NETWORK IN THE WORLD STREAMING POSITIVE IMAGES OF PEOPLE OF COLOR TO MILLIONS OF VIEWERS ON STREAMING DEVICES AROUND THE WORLD Historically the media has shown people of color in a negative way that not only affects how others view us but over time how we even view ourselves. It is both the intentional and unintentional misrepresentation of people of color that has caused harm to us and will continue to do so unless we do something to change that. Black on Purpose Television Network features 16 channels of quality television that bring both pride and encouragement to people of color worldwide. There has long been a great divide in opportunities for people of color in the film and television industry. While there has been some advancement, it still amounts to nothing more than crumbs. Just go to any budgeted film or Television production and see the lack of diversity. It should be clear that this is intentional, so rather than continue to ask as we have for decades for fair participation, BOP TV is based on both self empowerment and inclusion. Content is welcomed from everyone, the only requirement is that people of color are not negatively portrayed. It is a Network with its own rules that gives an even playing field and allows both exposure and revenue generation for content creators.
