Founded in 1862 Birmingham Children's Hospital is one of the leading child healthcare providers in the UK. The charity based within the hospital helps to fundraise and support via donations and community support. Over 240,000 sick children from across the UK are treated at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Many face incredibly difficult circumstances. Their stories of courage, determination and hope are truly amazing. Our medical and nursing teams provide the best possible treatment and the very highest standards of care, but we want to do so much more for the children who rely on us. Our charity's arm raises over £4m each year to create modern and child-friendly environments; purchase state of the art medical equipment and fund research into the prevention and treatment of childhood illnesses.We cannot do this without your help.
