BIFA’s Young Forwarder Network (YFN) is designed to help early talent and young BIFA members develop their knowledge and professional skills, in a social environment. Launching on 6th March 2019, the new scheme, which is managed by the industry’s young forwarders, consists of several regional networking groups in the North West, the Midlands, Anglia, the South East and London Heathrow – with more regions to follow. Regular regional events will provide YFN members with the opportunity to network with their peers, learn from industry professionals and boost their continuous professional development. All apprentices completing the International Freight Forwarding standard will automatically be enrolled and membership is open to anyone.
