Bengal Energy Limite

Bengal Energy Group of companies, consists of Bengal Energy Ltd.(BEL), Kolkata India and KIC Metaliks LimitedCML), Durgapur, India - as its two key companies. BEL has MOU with Govt. of west Bengal for an industry with total capex of INR 2,600 cores (520 million USD) with production of pig iron plant (0.5 MTPA), coke plant (1.2 MTPA), 140 MW power generation plant and 64 MVA of SAF for 0.1 MTPA Ferro alloys. KIC operates pig iron plant having production capacity of 1.8 LTPA and slag cement plant with production capacity of 20000 TPA. Expansion plans for 25 m¬2 sinter plant and 5MW power plant are in implementation stage with estimated investment of 20 million USD.
