Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration

We are a contemplative monastic community living according to the Rule of St. Benedict with a distinctive dedication to the Eucharist. Our ministry is one of prayer, and we support ourselves as the largest religious producer of altar breads (communion hosts or wafers) in the nation. We are the creator and only Vatican-approved maker of low-gluten altar breads. We also craft liturgical vestments for many denominations, publish Spirit&Life Magazine, one of the oldest, continuously published faith-centered periodicals in the nation, and own Monastery Creations, a line of handcrafted soaps, lotions, cards and other items made through the partnership of work and prayer. Monastery Scents (the soap line) features items made with a drop of holy water. Our Congregation includes 91 Sisters living in three communities in Arizona, Missouri and Wyoming. We are assisted by 53 full- and part-time lay employees.
