Basis is a consultancy serving the built environment with a range of services focused on improving project performance, reducing risk and managing the cost and schedule of our clients' projects. The business was founded by former directors of Davis Langdon in North America building off their collective experience in the North American construction market which dates back to 1986. In 2014, Basis merged with MGAC to establish a world-class, fully integrated project, cost and risk management consultancy. Since 1996, MGAC has provided consulting services to corporations, government, hospitality and retail companies, as well as cultural and higher education institutions. The business plays multiple roles. MGAC serves as owner’s representatives, project leaders, third-party consultants, procurement agents, and always as a trusted advisor and business partner. We guide the team through every phase of the project, including procurement, construction and commissioning. We execute the systems and methods that guarantee success with our clients’ vision and business objectives in mind.
