The object of the charity is the promotion of any charitable purpose for the benefit of the public, including but not limited to the inhabitants of Bramley and Rodley and surrounding area, to assist and enable families, children, young people and adults to develop to their full potential for the benefit of themselves and the community. Our focus is breaking inter generation cycles of deprivation, violence, addiction, poor physical and mental health, low aspiration and achievement, in particular, the preservation and protection of good health by the provision of support, advice and information relating to health issues and, in particular, to drug and solvent abuse. We have stuck to our principles of providing holistic and specialist services to support our clients – children, young people and adults in our community who have health and/or social issues to overcome. We operate throughout our community to reach out to as many potential clients as possible. Because we have a non-statutory role, we can work flexibly and creatively with our clients. We work closely with other service providers, statutory and non-statutory, but crucially we remain independent in order to focus on our client’s needs. We have continued to invest resources to ensure that the local community has greater ownership of local issues and more power to change them, with public services answerable to community groups who shape how they work and what they do.
