From our modest beginnings in 1985 as a direct wholesaler, we’ve grown to become a valued supplier to some of the most discerning buyers in the hardwood lumber industry today. From our state-of-the-art concentration yards located in the heart of the Great Lakes producing region, we offer the most consistent, color-sensitive Northern hardwoods available on the market. Everything we sell is graded carefully after hit-or-miss surfacing for color and yield. While the NHLA rules remain the foundation for our grading process, we've developed almost as many custom grades as we have customers. Whether it’s a special grade mix or a critical color sort, we’re willing to custom-tailor grading programs to accurately meet your needs.

Headquartered in White Pigeon, Michigan with an additional facility in Menomonie, Wisconsin, Banks Hardwoods is strategically located for quick and economical transportation on both a regional and national level. We serve a wide range of customers from coast-to-coast and internationally.
