Banaras Hindu University

Banaras Hindu University established in 1916 is the leading University of India with around 140 Departments, 4 institutes, sever schools of interdisciplinary studies. Constructed in an area of arond 1360 acres it is perhaps the largest residential university in Asia. In recent survey published in Current Science the university ranked first in terms of number of published research papers. In other surveys also it holds good rank in various academic areas incluidng the quality of research and education.
