Baltimore Youth Cycling

Baltimore Youth Cycling brings young cyclists together from the age of 8 to 18. Although we love and encourage everything cycling, our program focuses on Cyclocross and Road disciplines. Our volunteer run organization is passionate about creating the next generation of cycling enthusiasts. Our junior racing team competes throughout Maryland and surrounding states in cyclocross, time trials, criterium, road, and stage races. Many of our juniors also compete on the national stage. Our Rookie Bike loaner program is available to first year athletes to help lower barriers of entry for new racers and their parents. BYC’s young athletes and families also contribute to the larger cycling community through opportunities such as trail maintenance days, cycling advocacy, and group rides. BYC builds awareness in our young athletes of the issues and opportunities impacting all those who ride on two wheels.
