Arthur Bagby, Sr., who was one of the first to use hydraulic fluid instead of water in hydraulic elevators, founded Bagby Elevator Company in 1920. Now this innovation has become an industry standard. Bagby Elevator has evolved into a multi-service provider of elevator maintenance, installation, and repair, with operations throughout Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida.
Bagby now manufactures, installs, repairs, renovates and maintains elevator systems for virtually any commercial, industrial, and residential use. Under the third-generation leadership of Arthur P. Bagby III, Bagby Elevator continues to be an industry pacesetter.
