A new system coming to the US Bulk Renewables Market, has been in the EU for over 20 years. We recycle automobiles to a 99% efficiency and nothing goes to a landfill. In the United States alone, over 15 million (2008) vehicles reached what is called, “End of Life Vehicle” (ELV). ELVs end up in junkyards rotting, rusting and spewing forth hazardous chemicals. As these chemicals seep into the soil, ground water and underground viaduct/aquifer systems, contamination occurs by carcinogenic organochlorines such as polyvinyl chlorides (PVC), methylethylchlorides, mercury, ethylene glycol (freon), cadmium and lead which all seep into the ground causing cancer, infertility, immune suppression, birth defects and stillbirths.
