About ATÖLYE

ATÖLYE is a transdisciplinary innovation platform that is exploring novel territory: combining a strategic design studio and a creative hub. ATÖLYE is also a member of the kyu Collective, whose aim is to be a source of creativity to propel the economy and society forward. Within the kyu Collective are sector-leading members such as IDEO, SYPartners, Sid Lee, Kepler, BEworks, and more.

ATÖLYE's award-winning strategic design studio remains at the center of the work, with three key offerings and four practices. The offerings range from product-service-system design to organizational change and platform development, whereas the practices span across organization & learning design, service design, digital design and architectural design. Across, ‘human-centered design’ remains as the common denominator.

The 700 sq.mt. creative hub located in a historic beer factory contributes to the project work with its distinct components. The curated community of 120 interdisciplinary members provide opportunities for project collaboration, the prototyping lab nudges for quick digital and physical experiments and the events foster serendipitous interactions. Altogether, the strategic design studio and the creative hub form a symbiosis that strives for long-term value and impact across multiple scales.
