AtlantaAreaMommies.com mission is to provide a safe, secure, FREE place for mothers to find support and encouragement from other mothers and to empower them to be better women, parents and community leaders. AtlantaAreaMommies grew out of the hope for a safe, friendly atmosphere. It's a place where moms of all races, at any point in their life can come together for friendship and support. It's a free online community with user groups throughout Fulton, Dekalb, Cobb, Paulding, Cherokee, and Bartow counties in Atlanta. We have forums for every interest and stage - topics that interest you such as books, hobbies, household management, wellness, fashion, spirituality, forums focused on parenting stages (trying to conceive, pregnancy to teens forums), forums for support with homeschooling, attachment parenting, natural living, single parenting, career Moms etc and forums to help you find local things to do, business reviews and more. There is playdates, family picnics, Moms night outs, park events and more planned to meet face to face with other Moms. AtlantaAreaMommies is part of The Mommies Network (themommiesnetwork.org) which is a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping moms find support and friendship in their local community. Founded April, 2005 and there is over 100 communities in 32 states, and over 25,000 active members.
