Safety is our top priority at AYS. We implement rigorous safety protocols, including background checks for all staff members, CPR and First Aid training, and regular safety drills. Our facilities are designed to be secure and child-friendly, and we maintain a low staff-to-child ratio to ensure that each child receives the attention and care they deserve.
Yes, AYS is committed to making our programs accessible to all families. We offer sliding scale fees and financial assistance options to ensure that cost is not a barrier to participation. Our goal is to provide enriching experiences for every child, regardless of their family's financial situation.
AYS offers a range of professional development opportunities for educators and childcare providers. Our training programs cover topics such as early childhood education best practices, behavior management, and health and safety protocols. We aim to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge they need to create safe, engaging, and effective learning environments for children.
Parents can get involved with AYS in several ways, including volunteering at events, participating in fundraising efforts, and providing feedback on programs. We also encourage parents to join our community events and workshops, which are designed to foster connections among families and enhance the overall experience for children in our programs.
AYS caters to a wide range of age groups, from preschool-aged children to middle school students. Our early childhood education programs are designed for children ages 3-5, while our afterschool care and summer camps serve children from kindergarten through 8th grade. Each program is tailored to the developmental needs of the specific age group, ensuring age-appropriate activities and support.
