About ASA(ALT)

The Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology OASA(ALT), is the headquarters of the premiere organization for building tomorrow's Army today. Originally created as the Army Acquisition Corps on October 13, 1989, ASA(ALT)'s mission is to provide our Soldiers a decisive advantage in any mission by maintaining quality acquisition professionals in developing, acquiring, fielding, and sustaining the world's best equipment and services. Our success is achieved through efficient leveraging of technologies and capabilities in meeting, and exceeding, current and future Army needs. As the feeder to the best equipped Army in the world, ASA(ALT)'s primary focus is excellence in the advancement of technological platforms and scientific capabilities to continue being victorious against any threat in any environment.
