Artik/OEM Inc. designs, manufactures and supplies specialized products and systems to an impressive list of OEM customers located in Canada, the United States and Mexico, particularly to manufacturers of equipment for public transportation. It currently operates four production facilities located in Ajax, Ontario, Osage, Iowa and Winnipeg, Manitoba. The company is ISO 9001:2008 certified. Artik/OEM cuts to size various products such as insulation, cellular products, wood, floor coverings, sheet metal or laminates, using specialized equipment, such as numerically controlled cutting tables and high volume presses to ensure optimal and consistent product quality. CNC cutting tables use routers knifes or water-jet as cutting implements. Artik/OEM also laminates various products, according to specifications. The company offers sub-assemblies and custom packaging and shipping solutions suited to individual customers' production requirements. Transit bus, coach and rail car manufacturers are a key market for the company. Artik/OEM supplies to this industry structural floor systems, floor covering treatments, interior finishing panels, various acoustical and thermal insulation systems for wall, ceilings, engine and muffler compartment applications, exterior side-skin panels as well as a variety of other related products.
