In three specific segments: Double Sided, Multi Layer, and HDI, IPC reported the following trends: Double Sided: down 5% , MultiLayer: down 4%, HDI: up 18% Consistent with our view, the HDI segment remains our most active growth area in North American manufacturing. As new .4mm chip sets and the industry demand for increased signal speed grows, the demands for future designs moving to the HDI parameters seems eminent.
