Anglian Country Inns

Anglian Country Inns is a small qulaity-driven hospitality group operating in East Anglia. The group includes the pub/hotel The White Horse, Brancaster Staithe, Norfolk, the pub The Jolly Sailors, Brancaster Staithe and the pub/restaurant The Fox, Willian, Hertfordshire. Also included in the group is Brancaster Brewery, a smal micro-brewery, and Fish at The Fox, a specialist fresh fishmonger. The group is family owned and Cliff Nye is the current Chairman with his son James currently Managing Director. The group is predominantly food driven, with bespoke menus across the sites emphasing on fresh food with a local bias. 2010 has seen tremendous recognition for the quality of the food with national plaudits including the group winning the Best Food Offer in the MA 200 awards and The Fox being awarded Best Fish & Chips in the Great British Pub Food Awards. The Fox has also been awarded Dining Pub of The Year for Hertfordshire from The Good Pub Guide. The sites regularly feature in the major guides and bot the local and national press. The group is growing steadily and is currently looking for further acquisitions.
