The UK is a dynamic and expanding market for Andros. Based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, with a large chilled dessert facility in Somerset our UK company is experiencing rapid growth, pursuing a proactive strategy through both the hugely popular and successful Bonne Maman brand and an extensive Private Label portfolio Since bringing out trade mark ‘soft set; conserve to the UK some 30 years ago, Bonne Maman is now the UK’s leading jam with 21% share and Bonne Maman Strawberry Conserve is the nation’s no 1, favourite jam. Made with top quality fruits and fine, natural ingredients to simple, timeless recipes, the range is popular across the UK for its high fruit content and extensive range of varieties. Recent successful additions to the UK offering include premium continental desserts and a newly launched range of chilled ‘sweet treats’. Available across multiple and independent grocery retailers, the new Bonne Maman chilled dessert range is the focus of a national through-the-line campaign including our first ever TV advertising in the UK. Andros private label chilled business is a significant contributor to our UK business; the majority produced in the UK at our dairy facility in Somerset. Equipped with the latest food production, chill chain and packaging technologies, which allow us to deliver longer shelf life product to our grocery retail and food service customers. Primary product ranges include family sharing and individual trifles, mousse, cheesecakes and other simple, delicious desserts.
