About American Airlines Center
One of the top ten busiest sports and entertainment venues in the world since it's opening in 2001. American Airlines Center is home to the NBA's Dallas Mavericks and NHL's Dallas Stars. In addition we host live concerts, sports competitions, family shows and special events. Opened in 2001 - we have hosted many prominent events including the NBA Finals, NBA and NHL All Star games, NCAA Basketball tourneys and games, and both the U.S. National Figure Skating and U.S. National Gymnastics Championships.
