Amateur Entomologists' Society

The AES is an entomological society run by volunteers. It was founded in 1935 and became a UK registered charity in 1975. Its aims are to promote the study of insects among amateurs and young people, through the publication of books and periodicals and the organisation of educational, networking and field events. It has run the AES Exhibition and Insect Fair, the largest event of its kind, since 1946.
