About A.M. Qattan Foundation

An independent, not-for-profit developmental organisation working in the fields culture and education in Palestine and the Arab World, with a particular focus on children, teachers and young artists.
Founded and registered in 1993 in the UK as a charity (no 1029450) and as a charitable company limited by guarantee (no 2171893), it has had a registered branch in Palestine as a non-profit organisation (no QR-0035-F) since 1998.

A just, free, enlightened and tolerant society with an active global presence; one that embraces dialogue and appreciates and produces knowledge, art and literature.


Mission
An independent institution working in the knowledge and creativity sectors, using an integrative approach and targeting a variety of social groups, particularly children, teachers and young artists. The Foundation seeks to empower free individuals and a dynamic Palestinian and Arab culture, through a long term, particularly developmental ethos. This is achieved through programmes that foster critical thinking, research, creativity and production of knowledge, aiming to provide inspiring models of giving, transparency and excellence.
