All India Mission

Our vision at All India Mission is "Growing to lead 25,000 people to Christ Every Year" by reaching the unreached people groups of rural northeast India. All India Mission has successfully reached tens of thousands of impoverished native villagers in our 40 years of ministry. These new Christians were led to Christ by our 700+ full-time pastors and evangelists who have successfully planted more than 400 remote village churches. In February 2014 the ministry inaugurated Shanti Bhavan Medical Center (SMC). This modern 125 bed hospital serves approximately 6,000 native villages, home to several million people who previously had no access to modern healthcare. Our experienced, caring staff at SMC is treating an average of 1,500 patients every month. Specialty departments include Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Women's Medicine, Dentistry, Urology, Radiology, and General Medicine. Rural Medical Services, our mobile medical outreach program, sends our doctors and nurses to deliver basic healthcare to native villages surrounding the medical center. Our hospital is also collaborating with CMC Vellore to train 400 men and women in midwifery, emergency first aid, sanitation, and nutrition. These "Community Health Leaders" will return to their own communities to provide care to more than 160,000 native villagers in total. These extensions of Shanti Bhavan Medical Center make it a "medical center without walls". and provide the potential of changing the very culture of the thousands of villages it serves. With the advent of SMC and its numerous services, we will be able to interact, face to face, with nearly 400,000 people each year. The hospital and its combined services will be available to all without regard to the race or religious beliefs. Our focus at All India Mission is to share the love and hope of Christ. The many aspects of our ministry provide the basis for our vision - "Growing to lead 25,000 People to Christ Every Year".
