It is the mission of Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital (APD) to provide patient-focused health care services that are responsive to community needs, promote wellness, and continually improve the quality of health care services in the community.Founded in 1932 and named in honor of the fifth-generation Lebanon, NH resident who donated her family homestead and land, APD existed as a small “cottage hospital” for its first thirty years of existence. Today, APD sees more than 95,000 patients each year. Our 500 staff members provide services in dermatology, family medicine, general surgery, geriatrics, gynecology, orthopaedics, pediatrics, pain, plastic surgery, podiatry, neurosurgery, occupational health, radiology, rehabilitation, physical therapy, sleep health, and urology.
